Paris, the capital city of France, is the home of the Louvre, the most visited art museum in the world with outstanding collections of european and ancient art, which is placed in ‘place du Louvre’.
In ‘place du Louvre’, which host the pyramid of the homonymous museum, Neri has reproduced some of the posts and bronze lanterns placed along the ‘Court Carrée’.
The damaged posts have been removed by the Municipality of Paris and sent to Neri who has reproduced them.
Neri has removed the original lanterns and reproduced the individual components in cast bronze to build identical copies.
A second model of square lantern, located in the ‘Passagge Richelieu’, has also been reproduced in bronze.
